Modern uses
Runes today
Rune divination, tattoos, pop culture and politics. All of it is documented here as contemporary practice, with its actual age stated, which is usually decades, not centuries.
How this section treats modern practice
These pages neither endorse nor debunk. Modern rune reading is a real practice with a real history, and that history is roughly a hundred years long. Saying so plainly is not an attack on it: it is the information that is hardest to find anywhere else.
